Here are some guidelines for 2012:

1. Minimum claim is $25 – Arett Sales provides this service at no charge to our customers, however, we cannot process any claims for less than $25. Please make sure you process your claims through your distributor of record for each manufacturer.
2. SEND ORIGINAL ADVERTISMENT FOR EACH MANUFACTURER CLAIM
   a. Manufacturers will not accept copies and claim will be returned.
3. Send copies of distribution and printing invoices
4. Manufacturers require your ad include the following:
   a. All ads must contain manufacturer's logo & qualifying picture of item. When in doubt, contact the manufacturer to ensure reimbursement.
   b. Description of product must be in ad
   c. Sale value of product must be in ad(certain manufacturers will not reimburse for values below MSRP)
   d. Do not advertise competitive products on same page
   e. Make sure to get all prior approvals and special agreements in writing and submit a copy with your claim. If a special agreement is made and not sent with the claim, we will process the claim based on the actual value of ad
   f. Be aware of minimum advertised pricing rules
5. Pay attention to claim deadlines
6. Merchandise must be purchased from Arett Sales if we are submitting the claim
7. Do not deduct any monies from Arett’s invoices
8. MAIL all claims, at least 2 weeks prior to manufacturer claim deadline, to (unless otherwise noted):

   (Faxes are unacceptable … cannot send ORIGINAL copy of ad through a fax)
9. Use the Arett Sales' 2012 Co-op Claim Form when submitting claims
   a. Copy the page and submit it with each claim. Download it now.
10. Payment – processing varies by manufacturer. Some payments may go directly to you. A credit will be issued
    immediately when a payment is sent to Arett Sales. Under no circumstances may expected co-op payments be
    deducted from Arett invoices.

Arett Sales reserves the right to reject claims based on manufacturer's specifications. All claims should have a claim number identifiable to your company for reference with payment. All payments will be made in the form of a credit to your account unless other arrangements are made prior to submission. Under no circumstances may expected co-op payments be deducted from Arett invoices.
